 Monotypes are a one of a kind images unlike the massed produced prints that are the product of other types of printing processes.  Since they are not mass-produced they are very collectable, especially since Edgar Degas started making them famous when using the method to create his ballet dancers.  The Monotype is a truly unique art form.

 

This site also contains recent paintings.  All paintings are done in oils on panel or canvas.  I employ the same approach to design and composition when I paint as I do when I print.  I pursue, vigorously, my very own unique artistic voice.  I am methodical and intuitive and I bring to bear in every project I undertake the skills that I have acquired over four decades of experiential expression through art.
